When did you become involved in HFES at UW-Madison?
I became involved in Summer 2020!
Why did you join UW-Madison HFES?
I joined UW-Madison HFES to explore my interests in human factors as a potential pathway for my graduate studies, as well as to connect with students currently studying human factors engineering at the graduate level.
What is your favorite part of being a member of UW-Madison HFES?
My favorite part of being an HFES member is the connections I’ve made. I’ve found mentors that have helped guide me on my path to graduate school.
In what ways have human factors and ergonomics impacted your life?
Human factors and ergonomics has bolstered my ability to brainstorm better designs for class assignments and summer internship projects.
Other than human factors and ergonomics, what do you aspire to learn more about?
I aspire to learn more about world languages and cultures! I love to travel and have been working on strengthening my Spanish and Mandarin skills over the quarantine period!
What inspires you to wake up in the morning?
I wake up looking for an opportunity to inspire positive progression, whether that is through my research or my daily conversations with friends and family.
